Helene began her legal career in 2002 at an insurance defense firm and has continued to work at insurance defense firms.  Over the years, she has worked in a variety of areas within the insurance defense field including, but not limited to: personal injury, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, premises liability, slip & fall, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, construction defect, property damage, first party claims and subrogation cases. She handles cases from pre-suit through trial. She has assisted in everything from bench trials to jury trials both in the Civil and Federal courts.  She has also been involved with mock trials and arbitrations.

Helene attended Flagler College and received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major of Secondary Education and Drama in 1998.  She spent several years working as a high school teacher.  Helene also received her paralegal certificate from the University of Miami in 2006.
